Kitesurfing Courses

Kitesurfing requires the learning of a minimum of rules before having fun and have an independant and safty navigation. Glisse & Kite offers courses of 2h30 on a unique kitezone on the Mediterranean coast, consisting of a 300 m stretch of sea and the sandy beach, reserved just for kitesurfers

1 – Welcoming at the Glisse & Kite center

2 – Meeting with your instructor : check-in, equipment (wetsuit), acces to the changing rooms

3- Go to the spot for the course

How a kitesurfing course works :

1st session

Introduction to equipment and zone, how to set up the equipment, safety, briefing, where does the kite fly (power zones), kite flying on the land ans piloting exercices

2nd session

Body drag in the sea with boat assistance, how to re-launch the kite from the water, how to control the kite in deeper water, introduction to the board (twin-tip), 1st water start

3st session and afterwards

Repeating the water start and the first ride, self re-launch, becoming confident riding in both directions, riding upwind, 1st turns, jumping, transitions, advanced jumps, gybes, surfing, etc.

4- Debriefing with your instructor 

5- Coming back to the Glisse & Kite Center and using changing rooms and showers.

All the equipment (wetsuit, helmet, lifejacket, harness, kite, board).

The course by one of our certified instructors.

The kitesurf practice requires a minimum of 10 knots of wind (about 20 km/h), the days and schedules of the courses can be modified according to the weather conditions planned for your sessions. If the wind is not there, the course can be canceled and postponed. A little phone call the day before your session to confirm will be appreciate !

Course timetable : 10h - 14h - 16h30

For the 1st class, plan to arrive 15 minutes before

A liability insurance covering the practice of kitesurfing is obligatory. Possibility of taking one at the reception of the Center Glisse & Kite from € 20 (provide a credit card for a payment directly on the website of the insurer).

Minimum age: 12 years (parental permission required for minors).

On site : Parking, changing rooms, Wifi and Beach Bar for lunch or have a drink (Kiteburgers, salads, grilled dishes, homemade dessert, local ice cream .... home cooking from fresh produce).
